Stories of the Lives of Appalachian Women: Our Lives in Urban and Rural Appalachia

In the spirit of our foremothers, the Appalachian womyn of today have many stories to tell - stories of their lives and the lives of the women who have been meaningful, supportive role models.  In an effort to showcase these women's lives, an anthology has been proposed to tell their/our stories.  Our lives are often silent testimony to the strength of the good womyn of our region. Let's let our voices be heard.

If you have a story to contribute that draws from the life of a woman living in Appalachia or who has Appalachian roots that are relevant to the story being told, send inquiries
appwomyn@yahoo.com

Be sure to include your name, age, general area of residence, place of birth and childhood, story line, and a writing sample.  You will be notified after the editor receives your post.
